Arduino is a open source prototyping platform. Arduino UNO is a micro controller consisting of an Integrated chip which has 28 pins.
search on Google about Arduino and you can find things which blows your mind. A software Arduino is available on the internet. You can download it for free and use it to program the micro controller.
This is the basic video how to blink an LED. You can find already written codes in the Arduino software which you can import them and embed on the micro controller. In this video I imported the code to blink an LED. Which is the basic start to learn Arduino.
