Tiptronic Transmission

Tiptronic allows the driver to override the automatic mode by moving the gear level into a second shift gate. We can change the gear level forwards and changing down by pulling it back. Gear shifting is also done with paddles on the steering wheel. It provides the drivers a comfortable drive by convenience of an automatic and the driving enjoyment and sportiness of a manual gear box. It helps the racers (or) sporty drivers to changing gear up and down using the engine for breaking before a bend or when climbing hills.
consumers are in dilemma from few years to buy which type manual transmission or automatic transmission. A Tiptronic transmission works in an opposite style adopting manual characteristics to an automatic gear box by allowing the driver to select gears manually. It uses a torque converter instead of a clutch.
            The tiptronic automatic transmission is developed by  Porsche. A Tiptronic transmission can function as an Automatic transmission or a manual transmission depending on which setting has been selected. Tiptronic devices often have special performance settings to give the driver more control over a vehicles performance and make automatic mode feel more like a sports car.
