Adjusting the mirrors are very important as you could watch the traffic easily without really asking someone or turning your head back. This is the case where most of the new drivers go wrong. They don't adjust the mirrors and turn their head back or pop their head out of the door window to look at the traffic behind and then there is a probability that they hit something that is in front of them. This might sound funny to some professional or expert drivers, but it is really worth doing. There are some people who had their car dash the wall in front as they forget to put the gear in neutral and try to star the car. You can always avoid this by just pressing the clutch when you start.
